For many years the LASSAAD International Theatre School has been run by a team of two: Lassaâd Saïdi and his wife Sylvie Saïdi/Richir. They are both present, active and committed to their school. Their constant quest is to transmit, within the school and outside, the richness of the specific pedagogy that is taught there.
Sylvie Saïdi/Richir manages the administrative side of the school. She is also Assistant Artistic Director, responsible for outside contacts, collaborations with partners, contacts with future pupils, and continued contact with former students.
She deals with applications, follow up and selection of applicants.
She also monitors each student at the school.
She also ensures that the method and philosophy of the school are fully and comprehensibly available to those who request it.
Lassaâd Saïdi is the Artistic Director, responsible for contacts within the school as he is in charge of the teaching team. He is the one who guarantees the day-to-day handling of the programme. He also devotes himself mainly to the students within the school, those who live the programme directly and fully.
